As of December 2024 we have ca. 22km of 350/700V DC grid operational with our technology. After years of dedicated work, these projects demonstrate the practical application of microgrids using our technology.
Meshed 350/700V DC Microgrid at The Green Village
At The Green Village, located at the Technical University of Delft, DC Opportunities installed a bipolar 350/700V DC microgrid powering street lighting and an EV charger. The meshed grid is powered by solar panels, with energy either stored in batteries or used directly. DC Opportunities’ power converters and solid-state protection ensure seamless integration and reliability, showcasing sustainable energy solutions for the future.
350/700V DC Public Lighting Grid
In partnership with the municipality of Delft, DC Opportunities is upgrading the public lighting system from AC to DC. By implementing innovative DC protection cabinets and advanced solid-state technology, the project ensures efficient, reliable, and sustainable street lighting with enhanced control and monitoring capabilities.

The Joint Arrangement Nieuw Reijerwaard (GRNR) aims to establish Europe’s most sustainable agro/food logistics park. DC Opportunities is contributing by creating a local 350/700V DC Microgrid, powered by solar energy, to support public lighting, showcasing innovation in energy efficiency and sustainability.
